MAUI: FIRST LOOK
I've fallen in love with every place I've ever visited. The only thing that makes my goodbyes to all these incredible cities bearable is telling myself that it's not the end. I'll be back. Hawaii has a special place in my heart which is why it was even harder for me to leave Oahu back in March. I'd had a meagre four days of the best fun, and saying goodbye to Hawaii weighed on my soul. When I said to myself I'd return, it wasn't a mere consolation. I knew I'd work hard to make it happen.
Turns out I was meant to go back sooner rather than later, and I didn't even have to try hard to make Hawaii happen! The opportunity came at a point when I most needed the sun and aloha magic that can only be found on this collection of tropical islands, and needless to say, I jumped at the chance.
The list of places I want to see and things I want to do is as comprehensive as the day is long. The fact that I chose to return to Hawaii, rather than see a new corner of the world, should itself speak volumes about the Aloha State's magic. But let me add a few visuals to make my case:
Now that I've returned refreshed and reset to tackle the mountain of piling schoolwork, I was way too eager to share a few snaps of the Maui travel diary - a comprehensive guide is going to have to wait till I can afford some more time :)
